The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre Update Adds FREE Level 99 Blackout Cosmetics & More

Posted April 30, 2024
Hot off the heels of the XBOX UNHALLOWEEN SALE, Gun Interactive is thrilled to launch the latest update to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre today, bringing a host of new content, bug fixes, and other improvements to the 3v4 asymmetric multiplayer horror hit.

Front and center in this latest patch are the FREE Level 99 Blackout Cosmetics, available for all players who have reached Level 99. The Level 99 Blackout Cosmetics are all-black versions of each character's base outfit, with two exceptions: Virginia and Leatherface. Virginia will receive a Blackout Cosmetic in the future, while Leatherface will not have an outfit; instead, he will have an all-black chainsaw called Oil Slick.
Players can expect future Leatherface Cosmetics to be similar to that of Nicotero Leatherface. While the whole Family is the focus of the game, Leatherface is the figurehead and the face of the franchise: from the mask to the apron and every stitch between, his cosmetics should reflect that icon status, without altering the elements that make up the whole.

If you're already at level 99, the Blackout Cosmetics will be automatically unlocked for you after your game has updated. Thank you for spending so much time in Muerto County!
And lastly, as of today, all players will now be able to purchase the Sissy Wildflower Outfit for $2.99 USD, featuring a lovely flower-print dress (don't worry, those blood stains will wash right out!)
