Frictional Games is a small games developer located in the south of Sweden, more specifically in the town of Helsingborg. We develop our own technology to power our games, so far we have released five titles - Penumbra Series, Amnesia: The Dark Descent and SOMA. Frictional Games isn't really located in Helsingborg, one of us live here and the company is registered here, other than that it is very much a virtual company. Currently we are 15 people working full-time, all from our own homes, with the Internet as our "office". In addition we hire contractors to help out with specific tasks during production, such as audio, writing and graphics.
