Confirmed Bandits Ahead! New Content Update Incoming for Destroyer: The U-Boat Hunter, Along With a Temporary Discount Starting Today
Posted November 11, 2022Fans of the comprehensive Naval Military Simulator will be able to enjoy a new battle variant starting this Friday when “The Ambush” update is set live.
Hamburg, Germany, November 11th, 2022 - Developer Iron Wolf Studio and publisher Daedalic Entertainment are happy to announce that a new content update for Destroyer: The U-Boat Hunter will drop today and will introduce players to a new “Ambush” mission variant as well as various performance and quality-of-life improvements. The game will also receive a 25% discount on Steam starting today and ending on November 22nd.
Full breakdown of “The Ambush” content update below:
- New ‘ambush’ battle variant is now available with a modified opening cutscene
- New Interview with Iron Wolf Studio’s ASW expert has been included in the supporter pack
- Quality of life improvements and bug fixes on the DRT station (e.g. auto-plot now resumes instantly following change of scale)
- U-boat dive/surface speed has been reduced
- Air support is now more successful at suppressing U-boats
The team at Iron Wolf Studio has also reached out to the community to thank them for their support and want to make sure they know their feedback is being heard. A new update is already in the works that will improve the depth charge system, a mechanic recurrently discussed by the community.
