Comically Brutal Roguelike Lucky Tower Ultimate Coming to Early Access September 13, 2024
Posted August 14, 2024 Stuttgart, Germany, August 14, 2024 - Studio Seufz, the indie studio behind the critically acclaimed game The Longing, and publisher AMC Games today announced that Lucky Tower Ultimate will be launching into Early Access on Steam on September 13, 2024, for $14.99 USD. A continuation of the classic Flash game series, Lucky Tower Ultimate is an adventure comedy that provides endless possibilities for chaos, offering a unique run with each escape attempt.
The release trailer is a window into the dangers a player may encounter on their randomly-generated runs. Plus, at the very end, there’s a peek at the village that lies just outside the tower! Once the player completes a successful run, they can visit a bank to deposit money earned in the tower, unlock new hairstyles at the barber, buy new items for their next journey into the tower, and relax after a stressful run in the tavern with rescued companions.
For players who have already poured way too many hours into the Lucky Tower Ultimate demo, there’s tons of new content to enjoy at Early Access launch, including:
- Descend a more robust tower, featuring new segments with distinctive art styles and unique twists on gameplay never seen before in the Lucky Tower series
- After successful runs, make meta-progression in the village, enjoying the loot and companions you liberated from the tower along the way
- New companions and new enemies to meet, defeat, or retreat from
- Steam achievements, and more!
On their quest, the player will meet a large cast of quirky, hand-drawn monsters. The Riddle Master may reward a witty player with loot, hungry fiends lurk in every darkened corner, and witches guard a laboratory where potent potables are brewed. The tower’s mastermind, Evelius, hints that we may need to do more than just escape the tower to defeat him... follow the Early Access journey to unravel the mystery!
During Early Access, there will be three major milestone updates leading up to a capstone update for the 1.0 release. These updates will add new areas to the game, additional companions, and sprawling questlines. The full release of the game will include a final boss fight and the True Ending, and it’s expected to launch in 2025 on PC (Steam and Epic Game Store).
