The Star Named EOS Launches Globally on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5, & Xbox Series X|S
Posted July 23, 2024Developer Silver Lining Studio and publisher PLAYISM just released their story-driven puzzle game The Star Named EOS, now globally available for purchase at $14.99 USD on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S Consoles, as well as the Epic Games Store, GOG, Humble Store, Sonkwo & Heybox. Additionally, a special 10% discount is currently applied across all platforms, to help celebrate the game’s arrival! However, due to external complications, Nintendo Switch players in the Nintendo of Europe (NOE) Region will not be eligible for the 10% discount.

The newest game by Silver Lining Studio, the team behind hit indie game Behind the Frame, The Star Named EOS is a hand-drawn, first-person puzzle game with a story that focuses on a love for photography and the pursuit of memory. As a child, Dei regularly received letters from his oft-traveling mother, each of which came enclosed with a special photograph of the location she was visiting. But at the story’s outset, Dei notices something odd about one of the snapshots she left behind, putting his beliefs to the test. Now, guided by his mother’s voice within, Dei must chart his own path to unearth the truth and face the echoes of the past.
The Star Named EOS features the voice talent of actress Suzie Yeung, who voiced the mischievous Yuffie Kisaragi in Final Fantasy VII Remake and FFVII Rebirth, as well as numerous other roles. Commenting on the experience, Yeung had this to say:
