The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
New DLC Coming to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre During Xbox Free Play Days for All
Posted February 20, 2024LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY & NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND - February 20th, 2024 - Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham are getting ready to drop their latest round of downloadable content for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The new content will consist of cosmetics for Johnny and Sissy, a second execution pack for Family players, and weapon skins. All of this will be arriving just in time for the Xbox Free Play Days for All event, starting on Thursday, February 22nd and running until Monday, February 26th. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will be free to play for anyone with an Xbox during this time, and Xbox players can also expect The Texas Chain Saw Massacre to receive a 25% discount during the event. Watch the trailer for the new Execution Pack II below!
Johnny was originally supposed to be shirtless at release, however Gun Interactive Creative Director Ronnie Hobbs was unhappy with how his cosmetic looked, and scrapped it. Due to the overwhelming desire from players, this cosmetic for Johnny was resurrected and reworked for the community for free. The idea for the Bride Sissy cosmetic spawns from her taking the dress of one of her victims. Inspired by the ‘flower power’ fashion from celebrities like Bridgette Bardot and Twiggy, Sissy’s dress mixes lace with floral patterns. Bride Sissy will also be free to everyone.
All DLC will be arriving on February 22nd, 2024. Shirtless Johnny and Bride Sissy will be available for free to everybody, Execution Pack II will be priced at $6.99 USD, and Weapon Skins will cost $4.99 USD.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available on Playstation®4, Playstation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as Game Pass on Xbox and PC.
